Not Just a Three-Day Weekend

Memorial Day....One Day to Honor those who gave all they had to ensure
the United States of America would remain the land of the FREE.

This is not a political blog, but it seems to me we ALL should spend more time sitting quietly to remember WHY men and women step up to defend our country.  Some giving their very lives.

This past year two people I care about have stepped up:

Nephew, Joseph (with his mom, Terry)

 

 

Vanessa, my grandsons' mom.

To all who serve, I say Thank You!

To those who gave their lives, I say thank you to their families, and I am humbled.

To those considering the military,
I encourage you.
