Asking a Quilter to Mend

 

It started out innocently  enough...the sister asking me to fix one of dad's shirts

.....then it was another shirt

....then it was dad's britches, then another pair of britches.
(That's what they say in Kentucky...britches...instead of pants. 
That's what I say now, too....)

....then it was replace a zipper in my niece's dress... a hidden zipper. 
I'm surprised I even remember how (I did watch a YouTube video to refresh my memory. Don't you LOVE YouTube.)

But these are the gifts we give our family and those we love, besides quilts.
