Off... Into the Wild Blue Yonder

It's time to fly away again... for work... I'm going to a place I've been before and there is no real place to set up a sewing machine in the hotel, so I won't take Miss Ellie this trip...sorry girl.

So, how did I do on my todo list from last week?

*Another batch of kitty beds for C.A.T.
Yes... they (2) are ready to ship.

*Sew a coin purse.
No... I found a batch I'd bought when I was in Hawaii last year.
I'm going to use them first.

*Go visit my sewing friend, Camilla.
YES!  I saw her sewing room.  She said she could sew all night... One of the things she makes are cello bibs!  Who knew such a thing was needed!?

She made me a wonderful lunch and we talked the afternoon away...
   solved ALL the world's problems!
    **World hunger
   **World Peace
   **Obama Care

*Continue cutting scraps into usable squares (and making crumbs).  I found another box of them last night.... oy, vey...
I did finish one batch...but I still have one more to go... I think they reproduce when no one is looking...

*Work on the piggies.
Yes.  Charlotte S. came over and got me to the next step, gluing the piggies to the background fabric & sew on the borders.  I had hoped to sew on the borders....but just ran out of time...
The final step before quilting is to get the grass fused on.

*Dust the living room.
No... but in my defense, I did get one grandson-shirt mended and  I did spend a whole day with the grandsons swimming.... does that count?

Snacks by the pool... doesn't get much better than that for these two!

I won't have much time sewing-related stuff this next week... but, it is what it is... see you next time...
